Lucky Chinatown Brings a Toy-Inspired World to Life This Halloween

Halloween gets a playful twist at Lucky Chinatown this October, where childhood nostalgia meets the magic of make-believe. Think toy-inspired costumes, trick-or-treat adventures, and seasonal bites that bring a little extra character to the festivities. With colorful details and activities for the whole family, Toy-topia: A Halloween Playland turns an ordinary mall visit into a spirited celebration of all things playful.

Running from October 26 to November 4, Toy-topia brings together costume competitions, a mall-wide trick-or-treat trail, a toy and goodies fair, and Halloween-inspired food and drinks. Whether little ones are dressing up as their favorite characters or families are browsing for toys and sampling seasonal treats, there’s plenty to make a day out feel extra special.

Dress Up as Your Favorite Character

For little ones who love stepping into the shoes of their favorite characters, Toy-topia: Dress Up takes center stage on October 30 at 1:30PM. The activity features a costume parade and contest inspired by the world of toys, comics, cartoons, and movies, giving kids a chance to bring their favorite characters to life.

The festivities also include a mascot parade, a magic show, and other performances leading up to the costume competition and announcement of winners.

Open to children aged 4 to 12, the contest accepts registrations at the Lucky Chinatown Concierge Booth ahead of the event. On-site registration will also be available on October 30, from 10 to 11AM.

Follow the Trail for Treats

No Halloween celebration is complete without a little trick-or-treat magic. Happening on October 30 at 11AM, Toy-topia: Treats Trail invites little ones to embark on a mall-wide adventure, visiting participating stores to collect goodies and uncover sweet surprises along the way.

It’s a chance for kids to enjoy the familiar thrill of trick-or-treating while making new Halloween memories with family and friends.

Discover Toys and Goodies for Little Ones

Some of the most memorable finds are the ones that spark a child’s imagination. From a new favorite toy to a little something discovered during a family outing, the joy is often in the surprise.

From October 26 to 29 and October 31 to November 4, Toy-topia: Best Finds brings that spirit of discovery to Lucky Chinatown’s Atrium with a Halloween fair featuring toys, treats, and goodies for little ones.

Families can browse selections from edamama, 10 Yen King, Kiddie Club PH, and Mumuso, making it easy to find something special while exploring the festivities.

Whether shopping for the kids or picking up a few unexpected finds, the fair adds another playful stop to the Halloween itinerary.

Get a Taste of Halloween

The seasonal mood extends to the menu, with Halloween-inspired creations that put a playful spin on familiar favorites. Running from October 26 to November 4, Bites, Brews & Boos brings together themed doughnuts, cookies, drinks, and frozen treats for a little indulgence with a spooky-season twist.

Sweet picks include Krispy Kreme’s Haunted Halloween Collection and J.CO’s Bite Into the Fright doughnuts, while Kumori and The French Baker offer their own Halloween-inspired cookies. For something to sip or savor cold, Starbucks’ Black Cat Frappuccino and Rita’s Italian Ice’s Zombie’s Blood Gelati add a festive touch to coffee breaks and dessert runs.

Whether it’s a quick café stop or a well-deserved dessert break, these seasonal creations make familiar favorites feel a little more spirited.

From dressing up as beloved characters and following a trail of treats to browsing toy finds and sampling seasonal creations, Toy-topia: A Halloween Playland brings together the little pleasures that make Halloween memorable.

Visit Lucky Chinatown from October 26 to November 4 to enjoy the festivities and discover a playful take on the season.
