The Malaysian-born brand makes its Philippine debut at Greenhills Mall, pairing a bold matcha offering with playful House Originals.

SAN JUAN CITY, METRO MANILA, 29 October 2026: Matcha lovers have a new address in Metro Manila. Forest Cloud, the Malaysian-born beverage brand, opens its first Philippine store at Greenhills Mall, offering clear matcha, six-gram matcha lattes and six playful House Originals. Its matcha lattes deliver a rich, bold flavour with pronounced umami that holds its own alongside milk and other ingredients.

Behind the playful menu is a commitment to carefully sourced ingredients and thoughtful preparation, balancing craftsmanship with imagination.

“We want people to taste the care, but also enjoy the surprise,” said Aw Kai Ho, founder of Forest Cloud. “Our philosophy is ‘Feet on the ground, head in the clouds.’ We’re grounded in our ingredients, our relationships with farmers and suppliers, and the craft behind each drink. From there, we give ourselves room to play. That’s the experience we’re excited to bring to the Philippines.”

That balance comes to life in the signature Strawberry Matcha, which combines strawberry and matcha with soft, chewy rice mochi, finished with the brand’s salted cloud. It sets the tone for a menu built around contrasting flavours and playful textures.

The other five House Originals offer more to explore. The Forest Cloud pairs nutty matcha with a blue cream topping, while Matcha Mochi brings together rice mochi and salted cloud. Golden Oat combines sea salt caramel oat milk with matcha cream, Coco Cloud pairs coconut water with matcha cream, and Coco Mochi layers coconut milk, rice mochi and matcha cream.

Beyond the House Originals, the menu offers clear matcha, known as usucha, alongside matcha and hojicha lattes, plus coffee favourites such as the Americano and Café Latte. Forest Cloud’s house milk blend combines dairy milk and oat milk, pairing a creamy mouthfeel with the malty character of oats. Separate oat-milk and coconut-milk drinks are also available.

To celebrate its arrival, Forest Cloud is running “Three’s a Crowd. Four’s a Cloud.” from 2 to 30 November 2026. Customers can buy three drinks and get one free, giving friends a reason to explore the menu together.

Find Forest Cloud at Units L104 & L105, Ground Floor, Greenhills Mall, San Juan City, Metro Manila. Follow @forestcloud.ph for updates.
