McDo Muna: McDonald’s Invites Filipinos to Celebrate the Small Moments in the Midst of the Christmas Season

Manila, Philippines – Christmas in the Philippines evokes familiar scenes filled with reunions and celebrations, as well as preparations and the traffic. From shopping for Christmas gifts to practicing for office and school Christmas parties to decorating the Christmas tree, Filipinos know how to make the season grand. But in the midst of the holiday rush, some of the most meaningful moments happen in the small, everyday pause: whether it’s taking a break from shopping, sharing a laugh during dance practice, or enjoying time together while decorating.

With this, McDonald’s Philippines invites Filipinos na mag-McDo muna and make time to pause and connect with loved ones in between the big and busy happenings.

“Christmas is filled with grand celebrations and traditions, but some of its most meaningful moments happen in the small, everyday pauses. It’s the after-party catch-ups with friends, the spontaneous stops to take a break from all the family shopping runs, and little breaks we share with officemates that deepen our appreciation of the season. ‘McDo Muna’ is our way of inviting Filipinos to make room for these moments and show how McDonald’s can be part of the small pauses with loved ones that make the season feel special,” said Yves O. Nacpil, McDonald’s Philippines’ Marketing Director.

The Christmas rush understandably makes people focus on preparing for the main event, whether it’s the Noche Buena, a family reunion, or a workplace Christmas party. McDo Muna shows that an unexpected treat or a quick pause with your McDonald’s favorites that is enjoyed with loved ones in the midst of the grand events can elevate the small moments. McDonald’s Philippines showcases this with its latest series of heartwarming films, featuring Filipino stories of finding warmth and connection in simple moments in the midst of the sights, sounds, and ganaps of the season.

“We hope the McDo Muna invitation inspires Filipinos to appreciate the moments during this holiday season that might otherwise pass them by. This Christmas, we’re bringing that spirit to life through experiences and offerings that invite everyone to pause, reconnect, and enjoy the season in their own way.

“We are gearing up to introduce a special holiday menu and deals to our customers that will be a source of delight for them and their loved ones. They can look forward to truly memorable McDonald’s experiences that will give them more reasons na mag-McDo Muna,” added Nacpil.

Indeed, a McDonald’s visit during this Christmas season doesn’t need a special occasion. Any little moment is worth sharing with family, friends, classmates, or workmates over favorite McDonald’s meals, worth pausing and relishing to appreciate the real meaning of the season.

So, mag-McDo Muna and let your heart be warmed this season. Watch this special film full of relatable moments for all Filipinos as you take a pause to enjoy your McDonald’s favorites in the midst of the busy Christmas season.
