Jobseekers, hirers share why Jobstreet by SEEK is their platform of choice for career and business

When it comes to finding the right opportunity and candidate, having more choices is only part of the equation. What matters is knowing which choice can lead to a better match.

Candidates in pursuit of quality jobs and employers looking for best-fit talent take center stage in Jobstreet by SEEK’s latest video series, The First Choice, highlighting the real-life experiences behind their decision to choose their career platform.

Entitled “The First Choice,” the video series spotlights five jobseekers and three hirers across different industries who have found better opportunities and candidates by making the Jobstreet by SEEK their platform of choice. Through its continued innovation in AI-powered tools and better-matching capabilities, Jobstreet by SEEK helps people find opportunities and talent that are more closely aligned with their skills, aspirations, and goals, enabling more meaningful careers and stronger business outcomes.

Behind these experiences is their strategic integration of AI into job search and hiring, making the process more efficient and personalized for users. Its AI-powered tools help jobseeker profiles stand out with a badge when they are identified as a strong fit for a specific listing. For hirers, the AI-powered analysis of job descriptions and resumes, alongside past hiring behavior, helps assess candidates and shortlist faster.

“A job match is more than just a job seeker finding a vacancy and a hirer filling a role. It’s about finding the better fit where someone’s skills and goals align with an opportunity where they can truly thrive,” said Dannah Majarocon, Jobstreet by SEEK’s Managing Director in the Philippines.

Romuald John De Guzman, a Jobstreet by SEEK user since his career started, shared in his testimonial that through the platform, he finally discovered an opportunity to work as a business analyst at an international bank, where he bridged the gap between business and technology. He finds this role an ideal fit for his personality, as someone passionate about collaborating with people.

Fourteen years into his corporate career, Romuald continues to build on that experience, with Jobstreet by SEEK having been part of his professional journey. “I started with just one resume, and it landed me in places using Jobstreet,” he stated.

“This video series highlights every successful outcome that started with a choice. We want to tell that every decision can shape what comes next – their next job, their next employee. And with Jobstreet by SEEK, they can make that first choice with confidence. Hear their stories and discover how they found the right opportunities,” said Edryan Lorenzo, Jobstreet by SEEK’s Senior Marketing Manager in the Philippines.

Romuald’s experience is one of many stories featured in The First Choice video series, each showing how the choices people make can lead to opportunities that better fit their skills, experience, and aspirations.
